Jim brings dedicated and focused customer service to his practice as a financial advisor, something that has led to a reputation for high rates of client retention. His goal for his clients is to make their journeys to retirement less stressful.

Jim has been a registered advisor since 1982 and holds the designation of Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA). He studied at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee (1973-1975) and the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point (1976).

On a day-to-day basis, Jim manages retirement portfolios with a keen emphasis on risk management. His specialty is equity and fixed income planning using individual stocks and bonds.

Outside of the office, Jim is an active member of his community, having been a past board member at St. Rose’s Family Youth Center/Ladd Lake as well as the National Ruffed Grouse Society. His hobbies include fly fishing, bird hunting and golf.

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jim currently resides in Hartland with his wife, Shellee. They have two daughters, Morgan and Alyssa.
